What is daNkideas.com?
daNkideas.com is a Music-Fashion-Lifestyle blog based out of College Park, MD. Founded by University of Maryland students, it was originally designed as a home for the newest Hip Hop on the net.
Today, it’s content range extends beyond music alone. We try to provide you with everything we consider a daNk idea: Anything that pushes the limit of creativity in a fresh and intelligent way.
The Movement
Since its launch in December ’09, daNkideas.com has begun reaching out to build strong relationships with well respected members in the entertainment and fashion industries. Our mission is to use our connections in a way that enhances the social scenes around us, starting with College Park, MD.
By building a superior social network that has expanded quickly through a tight-knit, student based, grass roots community and connecting directly and efficiently with our followers (via facebook, twitter), daNkideas.com has created a strong movement that proves to be attractive to names in the entertainment industry. This has allowed us to organize major events and provide unique opportunities by which students can benefit in a way that has never before been seen amongst our followers in the UMD/DMV region.

yo daNK can u put more music on hre so i can listen to it in school im in 6th grde the school doesnt block thiz site but it block all other music sites plz put mre music p.s I LOVE THE SITE GOOD MUSIC

We get tons of music submissions every day but try to be picky with what we put up on the site because we want to keep our music quality standards high. Also, we will only post brand new music that has literally just been released within about 48 hours. We’ll keep the music posts going up as best as we can, but there will probably only be several new music posts per day.
But if you’re craving more music now, I’ve added a “Category Selector” at the upper right area of the site. Just click on the drop-down menu, select “Music” and you can quickly and easily browse through every song we’ve ever posted. Keep on daNkin!!

I have also just added a music player at the bottom of the site so you can easily scroll through a huge amount of the songs we have posted on the site. Just click in the lower left corner where it says “Click to play all audio posts” and you will immediately be able to stream a bunch of songs.
